Welder Tests

That is the motto for Boilermakers Union, Local 456 out of Rock Hill, SC. This Union assists their welders with job placement on nationwide contract work. Business Manager, James Duke, came out to speak to our students about job opportunities, specifically for those that would like to travel. Our Piedmont/Greenville location recently sent 13 current students and graduates to take structural and pipe tests with this union. We are proud to say 13 out of 13 passed their weld tests! We weren’t able to get all 13 students’ pictures, but here are a few of our successful testers. Congratulations! We also want to thank our day and night welding instructors who helped these students perfect their skills.
